Max Workouts Review
Author: Sam Anxious about my busy routine and ever increasing weight I was looking for a fitness program that doesn't ask me to spend hours in gym. I went through a lot of weight loss and fitness programs before finally getting my hands on one that is perfect for busy professionals. The Max workout program is created by a Shin Ohtake who is not just a former professional athlete but also a chiropractic soft tissue therapist. The program is created after 20 years of study and thorough research, so you are rest assured that it is bound to produce the promised results.

What I liked about the program is that Shin explains everything about what works and why exactly does it work. Shin Ohtake's Max workout program focuses on quality workouts rather than spending long hours in intense training without any gain. The main theme of the program is to perform dynamic and intense exercises that are functional and involves the whole body. There are six primary movements that we make during the course of the day; an exercise is functional if it involves any of these movements which can de divided in to push, pull, squat, deadlift, rotation and flexion. I found that the idea makes complete sense; it is obvious that you'll burn fat faster when the whole body is put through the intense training instead of focusing on isolated non functional workouts.
Max workouts program comprises of short but highly intense circuit and interval cardio workouts of about 20-30 minutes for 4 to 5 days weekly. The workouts not only include weight training exercises but also circuit style exercises that use body weight resistance. The goal of the training is simple," increase body resistance to increase fitness". I found that this method of training not only burn your fat faster but also increases the overall strength of the body and pack on lean muscle.
The 90 day program has four levels and the training gets tougher and tougher with each level. Each level continues for three weeks, the time it takes for a body to adopt to a routine and produce diminishing results. The weight training and interval cardio sessions are performed on alternative days. All levels have training sessions which includes 3-4 different workouts. Each workout is performed one after the other with no rest period between them. When all the workouts are done, a round is completed and you can take a break and be ready for the next round. If it sounds easy believe me you are thinking the opposite, the workout is extremely intense and you have to be prepared. The program encourages you to start with initial weight that is challenging; I did that and felt a significant difference with in the first week. With each passing week I continued to increase the weight and decrease the time of rest and that's exactly how you gain the ultimate strength, endurance and power. In just 8 weeks I managed to loose about 20lbs and felt younger and much fitter than when I started. By the time 90 days completed believe me or not I had lost another 15lbs and was having the perfect lean, ripped and athletic physique that I always wished to have.
I really liked the sensible and intelligent approach behind the Max workouts program, it is not created for the undisciplined, if you think you are devoted and prepared for the challenge you are bound to see the results in your favor.
